Lion Runner is a free browser game offered as-is. Playing it is the whole agreement - there is nothing to sign up for and nothing to pay.

1. Using the game

You may play Lion Runner for personal, non-commercial enjoyment, as often as you like, on any device you control. No licence key, account or payment is required.

2. What you should not do

• Don't attempt to disrupt the site or the people using it.
• Don't redistribute the game as your own work, or present it as an official product of anyone else.
• Don't use a nickname that is abusive or impersonates someone. Nicknames are stored only on your own device, so this is a courtesy to yourself rather than something we can police.

3. Scores and saved data

Scores, statistics and leaderboard entries are stored in your browser's localStorage. They are not backed up, not synchronised between devices and not recoverable if lost. Clearing site data, switching browsers or using private browsing will remove them. The leaderboard is explicitly local - it is not a global ranking and does not represent other players.

4. Availability

The game is provided without any guarantee of uptime. It may be changed, updated or taken offline at any time without notice. Updates may alter gameplay balance, and a future version may not be compatible with data saved by an older one.

5. No warranty

The game is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. You play it at your own discretion and risk.

6. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, no liability is accepted for any indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the game, including lost scores or lost time. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under consumer law that cannot be limited by agreement.

7. Intellectual property

The name Lion Runner, the game's code and its artwork belong to their authors. Emoji glyphs used in the interface are rendered by your own operating system and remain the property of their respective vendors.

8. Health and comfort

Take a break every so often. If you are sensitive to motion or flashing, enable "reduce motion" in your operating system - the game detects it and tones down the camera shake and particle effects automatically.

9. Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated. The date at the top always reflects the current version, and continuing to play after a change means you accept it.
